SONG DEDICATION RULES
« on: September 30, 2011, 09:20:19 am »
 1. Do not dedicate any song that is derogatory, malicious, offensive, threatening or unfavorable. If you do your post will be deleted and your membership will be immediately terminated and you will be banned from both the website and chat room.  NO  EXCEPTIONS !!!!!

2. Under no circumstances is this board to be used to settle any disagreements between players.  If this sort of behavior is discovered ALL parties memberships will be immediately terminated and they will be banned from both the website and the chat room. NO EXCEPTIONS !!!

3. When posting dedications to a player or character...give the song title, the original artist who wrote and performed it, a link to a website where it can be heard (iTunes, eMusic, or any file sharing site...like DropBox or FilesAnywhere), a link to a website where the lyrics can be read (LetsSingIt.com, LyricsDepot.com, etc. or add them as an attachment to your post), the name of the dedicatee (player or character), the name of the dedicator (player or character doing the dedicating) (no anonymous dedications!) and any additional information, comments (like the reason for the dedication) you may want to add.

4. When posting a dedication to a story line...give the song title, the original artist who wrote and performed it, a link to a website where it can be heard (iTunes, eMusic, or any file sharing site...like DropBox or FilesAnywhere), a link to a website where the lyrics can be read (LetsSingIt.com, LyricsDepot.com, etc. or add them as an attachment to your post), the story line title and a link to the story line (or scene in a story line), the name of the dedicator (player or character doing the dedicating) (no anonymous dedications!) and any additional information, comments (like the reason for the dedication) you may want to add.

5. No song will be accepted without the lyrics (since not all of us have high quality speakers and/or perfect hearing) so be sure to find them online and link to them or add them as an attachment to your post. If a dedication is made without the lyrics the dedication will be removed until lyrics can be added (but will only be held in “limbo” for 1 week of removal...after which it will be permanently deleted.
NO EXCEPTIONS!!).

6. All music genres will be accepted as long as they are within the above mentioned guide lines.

7. Dedications will remain visible for the life of the RPG...so if you want to “undedicate” a song you will have to remove it yourself.

8. Do
not edit or modify anyone's dedication except your own.  If one of your dedications has been modified or changed in any way by any other player report the incident immediately to a moderator.  The “offender” will be immediately removed as a member and banned from the website and chat room. NO  EXCEPTIONS!!!
