History: Gemini was left at a hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 17th, 1990.  She was then adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Dunmire and named Gemini Atlantica Dunmire when she was four days old, and moved to Fargo, ND when Gemini was four. Gemini had a normal, and happy childhood. The only thing that could be considered 'abnormal' about her is the startling color of her eyes. The only sport at School that Gemini is in, was Swimming, however, that is a major portion of her life. She missed the 2000 summer Olympic Swim Team by one 100th of a second.

The summer after her junior year, when she was 17, Gemini was involved in a sever car accident. She was hit head on by a drunk driver. When the police and fire arrived, Gemini was barely conscious, with a piece of glass buried in her chest. It took the police and fire nearly four hours to cut her out of the car. During those four hours, she died. By the time they were able to pull her out, Gemini had woken back up. The fire fighters assumed that she had just passed out while they were cutting her out.  She was then rushed to the hospital. At the hospital they were surprised to find other than the glass (Which was still in her chest) and a few bruises, Gemini had no other damage to her. Within a week she was out of the hospital and at home, and by the time the beginning of her senior year arrived she was able to start school on time as normal, with only a small thin scar as any evidence of the crash.

Gemini is now fully recovered and has just recently graduated from High School, and is back to swimming. She has taken some time off from heaving training to come to Seacouver to try and find a coach to help her prepare for her next Olympic run.
